Hacienda de las Rosas Winery features fine wines for both red and white wine lovers. Our Wine Tasting Room features different wines, including a featured "guest wine" each month from another San Diego Winery. Below features our current selection of fine wines:

2002 Primera Rosa – 73% Cabernet Sauvignon / 27% Petite Sirah
Our Winery’s “Signature” wine…a smooth red wine, with a hint of berry or currants.
Aged in oak for almost two years, this wine is great by itself or with appetizers.
2006 Vistoso - Tempranillo
One of the world’s oldest grapes, originally from the Middle East, coming to Spain during the Crusades.
This spicy wine has a peppery finish – great with steak and spicy Italian food.
2006 Maximus - Merlot
One of the “big” reds, a wine that is for the true red wine lover. Named after our black stallion, Maximus, this wine is very smooth with a drier finish.
Serves well with duck, prime rib or steak.
2007 El Fuego– 50% Ruby Cabernet / 50% Petite Sirah
A blend of two great red grapes, grown in Ramona Valley , with a bit of a “fiery” taste.
The Petite Sirah gives it a rich dark color, and the Ruby Cabernet provides a spicy finish.
A great wine for a spicy Indian, Spanish or Italian dishes.
2006 Sombra – Petite Sirah
This vintage presents one of the best tasting wine grapes grown in the Ramona Valley.
With a rich flavor and color, this "big" red is a smooth full-developed wine.
Sombra, meaning “shadow,” is named after our largest bay colt and is audacious as this young horse.
Serves well with appetizers or with a full-bodied meal.
2005 – Palomino – Sauvignon Blanc
Never in oak, this wine represents the best of the fruit itself, with a tart taste and hint of green apple or pear.
Pairs well with fish, sushi or fruit salad.

2008 Rosa Rosa – White Syrah
Known as the “pink rose”, this sweet, refreshing wine presents a different side of the Syrah grape.
Salads or light desserts are a fine accompaniment.
2006 Oro - Chardonnay
A traditional taste, developed in oak, with just a hint of butteryflavor.
A light refreshing wine that serves well with fish, turkey or ham.
Dulcinea – Concord
This sweet wine is great tastes like the concord grape.
Great for first time wine tasters, or those who like the sweeter dessert wines.
Shireen - PORT
Made from the Syrah grape, this fortified wine is a sweet nector to be served with dessert or after dinner cigars!
